What is wellness coaching?

As a wellness coach, I understand that when it comes to wellness goals, it’s not always straightforward. You and I take a whole-istic approach to your goals.

Primarily, it focuses on:

  • Nutrition

  • Fitness

  • Sleep

  • Stress

  • Relationships

  • Work/Life balance

I understand that each and every one of us is different. So, together we consider every aspect of your life, your values, dreams, desires, priorities as well as, your situation, time and money constraints. I help you to navigate through all of this and get to where you want to be. Mindset is also a very large part of your wellness success. So we often spend a lot of time adjusting that in a more positive direction.

I am not here to diagnose/treat medical or other conditions, or provide a quick fix.

Where did you study?

I completed all 3 Levels of Wellness Coaching Training in 8 months at Wellness Coaching Australia.

I've also completed courses in movement, stress, nutrition and integrative health. I’ve also been researching for my personal weight loss/health gain every day for 8 years.

Unrelated: massage and aromatherapy, accounting and event management.

What led you to Wellness Coaching?

I was always looking for what to be when I grew up. I explored so many different careers from education, to massage therapy to fashion design to forensics. I finally figured out that I was put on this earth to help people feel good about themselves, from their core. I just wasn’t sure what avenue to go down. I looked into counselling and life coaching. I was also on my own weight loss process at this time. Struggling with the overwhelming feeling of information overload from the fitness and diet industries, while feeling completely alone on my path. I saw a gap that I could fill. Around this time, I found Wellness Coaching. Which felt so right, I could help people with the things that were important to them and work together to reach their dreams and goals.


How much weight did you lose?

At my heaviest I weighed over 110kgs (I’m not sure because I stopped weighing myself). So far I’ve lost over 38 kgs (based on that 110kgs number). Which is about 84 pounds. But I have to say that my focus has not so much been on the numbers but on my emotional and mental transformation. I have learnt so much about myself. And I have grown as a person. I feel happier, stronger, more resilient, more patient, empowered, confident and in control.

How can I have that too?

I want to teach you how to shift your focus onto something good, that’s just for you! I completely get that everyone is different. And I meet you where you’re at, without judgement. I want you to feel like the best version of yourself as well. The truest and most awesome You. Because this is how we are able to give our best at work, to our family and friends as well.

How do you do it?

The Strive system is designed to guide and support you to find clarity in your own wellness goals and take steps towards that. We literally look towards your future. The main purpose of wellness coaching is to create long-lasting healthy lifestyle changes.

I basically support you and guide you to create your definition of wellbeing and what that means to you, on a deeply motivating level. We find out your strengths and concentrate on building them to help you reach your goals. We will identify your motivators and any obstacles, as you create your vision for the future.
